There is a rumor that Apple is working on the latest version of Airpods Pro, and also, there will be several design changes in the store. In comparison with standard AirPods, AirPods Pro features a shorter stem. But there is a possibility that the second generation version of these AirPods could potentially contain no stem at all.

Apple wants to make the AirPods Pro 2 more compact, According to the Bloomberg. How? It can be done by eliminating the short stem that actually sticks out from the bottom of AirPod. AirPods Pro 2 can be similar to something like Samsung Galaxy buds or Google Pixel Buds because Apple is testing a Round shape of AirPods. Both of them will be stemless.

Development Troubles?

It is obviously a big challenge for getting the hardware of the AirPods into a smaller package. So, in the planned design, there will be ultimate changes. Apple is reportedly finding it difficult to integrate AirPods Pro antennas, features and microphones into a chassis that is reduced in size.

There will be some minor changes in the charging case of the new AirPods Pro 2.the new AirPods may have a width of 54mm and height of 46mm. That means it will be thinner and taller in comparison with the current case that actually measures 60.6mm by 45.2mm.

Rumors surround that the new version of AirPods Pro that is AirPods Pro 2 have been circling since last year, after the report in which DigiTimes claimed the new Wireless Earbuds will be launched in the first six months of 2020.

No doubt that they did not materialize the news, but now everything points toward the current year. Bloomberg claimed that AirPods Pro 2 will be launched this year, and they could be subject to the pretty dramatic design, by getting rid of the stems of AirPods that will make the Original AirPods so instantly recognizable.

They can compete with sony WF1000XM3. At 24-bit/48kHz It will allow Hi-Res Audio Codecs. There can be a customized EQ , by which it will be suitable for the wider range of several musical genres.
